Her Wild Love share new single Nothing’s Missing taken from upcoming debut EP ‘Wake Up Before The Night is Over’ due out October 6th.

Summoning the delights of new wave, remnants of psych-rock and references to the icons of the sixties, Her Wild Love keeps the passion alive without restraining its appetite for risk. Always intuitive, the duo fine-tunes its identity and singular style, finding its own balance between Sarah’s words and Rafael’s arrangements. Permeated by cinematic atmospheres and whiffs of melancholy, their music conjures up the black magic of Mazzy Star, the incantations of PJ Harvey and the audacity of Warpaint.

Nothing's Missing is one of those gift tracks, one of those songs that just comes out of the blue, with such precision that it doesn't take much to transcend it. It's the fruit of a guitar-voice improvisation, during a rehearsal at home. One day, Raf was playing this guitar line and I said to him: "That's beautiful, I'll do something with that"... and then weeks, even months, went by without us paying any attention, until one day... The vocal melodies came as a matter of course, and it was as if the text was unfolding before my eyes, the words were there... they undoubtedly needed to be said, it was an intense moment, one of great fragility too.
One wonders if the lyrics were written without my knowledge, in the depths of my unconsciousness...
It's a very intuitive and personal track, about the tension between the simplicity and complexity of a relationship, and an invitation to let yourself be rocked, even when it hurts.
We then recorded the track at home, and without overdoing it, because we wanted to keep the pure character of our improvisation, and above all not rob it of its precious lightness.
We fine-tuned the arrangements and mix with our friend Pascal N. Paulus (Mélanie De Biasio, Kris Dane), who added a touch of Roland SH9 to the heart of the song.”
