The B.U.N.K. project is led by the non-profit organization EXAG Unlimited, which aims to produce, support, and develop musical projects. It functions as an incubator for musical projects, constructing a complex of rehearsal and recording studios, as well as other multidisciplinary productive spaces, in a building of former offices located in Anderlecht, rue de la Petite Île, under a temporary occupancy.

B.U.N.K. aims to address the severe lack of spaces dedicated to the practice of amplified music in Brussels. The goal is to offer quality spaces at affordable rates for musicians in the context of increasing precariousness in the profession (limited availability of rehearsal spaces, high rates, access difficulties, sanitation issues, difficulty obtaining declared fees as musicians, etc.). B.U.N.K. brings together a community of musicians from the Brussels alternative scene who share a set of essential values: love of music, resource sharing, mutual aid, DIY approach, ecology, open-mindedness, inclusivity, tolerance, and creativity.
