Gut Model debuts ‘Spulctures’ is out, the same day as TS’ new album, yes they dared.

Gut Model is Simon François, Léonard Thiébaut, Lucas Roger, and Paul Brynaert. In 2020, these four expatriates from a city with a restricted cultural scene found themselves in forced proximity in the Belgian capital. From this cohabitation emerged around ten apartment compositions, nostalgic of popular festivities and with emancipatory ambitions. The regained freedom led to the live period of the group, dedicated to adapting chamber compositions for an experienced audience. The release of a first demo on Jus de plaisir, a cassette compilation of Belgian bands made possible through the patronage of the Dead Madam Records label, allowed them to subsequently publish a single "New Tattoo," a calling card initiating the development of the live project.

The idea of recording their compositions on an album took root. Over two years, the members of Gut Model ventured into the production of their offspring. Recorded in a home studio in their austere rehearsal space where they found a certain uncompromising creative intimacy.

Ultimately, it was through the establishment of the B.U.N.K. project, an artistic incubator in Brussels, and through the socializing capacities of such an ambitious endeavor, that the adventure with EXAG’ Records materialized.
