EXAG’ & Rough Trade for Cucamaras new EP ‘Buck Rogers Time’

Nottingham’s hottest prospects, the four piece have been making waves with their definitive, genre-spanning sound that incorporates elements of post-punk, indie and art pop to create something remarkable and unique. 2022 saw the band release their debut EP ‘Soft Soap’ which garnered rapturous praise from BBC Radio 1, NME, Clash and more, cementing their place as an outfit to watch. Named as one of NME’s 100 Essential Artists for 2023, Cucamaras returns today with new ep 'Buck Rogers Time'.

Cucamaras share new single Cotton Wool

Recorded at York’s Young Thugs Studios with producer Jonny Hooker (Low Hummer, Bull, Avalanche Party), this new single follows on from a rapturous start to the year which saw Cucamaras named as one of NME’s 100 Essential Artists for 2023, and appear as ones to watch on Dork’s Hype List tour. 

Fans of Cucamaras, the dynamic postpunk/indie rock band from Nottingham, are in for a treat as the band prepares to release their highly anticipated EP, " BUCK ROGERS TIME." This EP promises to take listeners on a musical journey filled with electrifying riffs, soaring vocals, and upbeat rhythms.

Cucamaras has been a staple in the Nottingham music scene for years, known for their high-energy live performances and catchy tunes. With " BUCK ROGERS TIME," the band takes their sound to the next level, still highly rooted in the postpunk scene they are incorporating elements of classic rock, pop, and alternative music to create a unique and thrilling listening experience.
